What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

Direct Primary Care is a healthcare model where families pay a simple monthly membership fee directly to their Pediatrician.

This covers most primary care services without billing insurance

How is DPC different from a traditional pediatric office?

Traditional offices bill insurance for each visit, which can limit time and access. In a DPC model, there are no copays and no rushed visits.

What does the monthly membership include?

Monthly membership fees include well child visits, sick visits, same or next day appointments, hearing and vision screens, vaccines, point of care testing such as flu, covid, RSV, and strep testing, developmental and behavioral screens and support, direct communication (text, phone, secure messaging), and care coordination guidance. Discounts for additional services are also provided.

Do you accept insurance?

Serenity Pediatrics does not bill insurance. However, you can still use insurance for hospitalizations, labs/imaging, medications, specialists, or emergencies. Maintaining an insurance plan is highly recommended.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for membership?

This is very specific to your particular plan.

Please check with your carrier for details.

What if my child needs labs, vaccines, xrays, or medications?

Vaccines and POC labs that can be performed in the office are included in your membership fee. Labs that must be sent out, imaging that may be needed, and medications can be billed to your insurance.

Are visits really unlimited?

Yes. Families are encouraged to reach out as often as needed without worrying about extra costs.

What ages do you care for?

Birth to 18 years of age.

What if my child needs a specialist?

Dr. Roebuck will help coordinate care and referrals to ensure

your child gets the right support.

Is DPC right for my family?

Serenity Pediatrics is a great fit for families who value longer visits, easy access to their provider, transparent pricing, and personalized care.

I want to come to Serenity Pediatrics but I don’t want to pay a membership fee.

For those who do not wish to start with a membership, acute and complex care visits are available.

How do I sign up?

Sign Up Here   OR   text Dr. Roebuck at (401) 267-9928.
